Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, I qualified as a primary school teacher but could not continue my journey in school as the schools were forced to shut. Instead I organised several socially distanced street parties, children’s entertainment, circled my neighbourhood as the easter bunny for the children and completed around 60 quizzes for friends and families.
It is is coming up to Halloween, where restrictions have come into place about trick or treating. Instead I have organised a safe and socially distanced sweet/chocolate hunt/trail in my avenue for the children in my street to complete.
As a teacher, I am very passionate about the current free school meals campaign. I am asking for donations to help feed Britain and support children and families through this difficult time and to help, support and extend the free school meals for children and families.
Since lockdown began in March, I have raised £1000 for different causes including the NHS, care homes and multiple charities. Any support and donations to the Feeding Britain Organisation will be very appreciated. I have made it a priority to make sure all of the children around me have had a fantastic time in such difficult circumstances. I want to extend this, and see all children around Britain being supported.
