COVID-19 emergency food programme

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are running an emergency food programme to protect children and their families from hunger. Hot meals and food packages are being made available, through a combination of home deliveries and collection points in the community, to ensure families on low incomes can put breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the table each day. A donation of just £10 can purchase the equivalent of 30 meals for a family at risk of hunger.

Feeding Britain is committed to addressing the root cause of hunger in the UK. We bridge the gap between people experiencing hunger first hand and change-makers at the local and national level.

We are gathering evidence on a wide variety of issues with a direct role in food poverty in order to produce reports which illustrate the causes, extent, and solutions to hunger, while also bringing your concerns to the Houses of Parliament.

Hunger Watch:

Our local pilots are gathering evidence on the causes and extent of hunger in their communities. At each meeting members are asked to share both formal and informal evidence around what they are seeing in their work. The evidence collected will be used to highlight hidden causes of hunger, and to build up a national bank of evidence with which to campaign for political reform.

If you have evidence to share we would like to hear from you. Please contact
