Feeding Britain is working towards a future where no one in the UK goes hungry, and where food banks are a thing of the past.
In pursuit of that objective in Northern Ireland, we are currently supporting seven local partnerships and are also part of a cross-sector partnership established by colleagues at Queen’s University Belfast and Teesside University. We are now seeking to recruit a Programme Director who can provide strategic co-ordination to this work, with a particular focus on engaging with the Northern Ireland Executive, the Department for Communities, and Members of the Legislative Assembly, as well as academic experts and a growing network of social supermarkets, on the wider systemic change that is required to tackle household food insecurity and improving diet quality in Northern Ireland, particularly among children and young people.
