We are looking to recruit an experienced PCV bus/coach driver. You will be required to drive the bus to deliver our food project across boroughs; maintaining our weekly schedule at various locations and attending specific community events.
You’ll also drive our Food Van to collect produce from distributors. To support the project, you will assist the Food Bus manager and team with community work whilst carrying out the project, talking to local people and helping with tasks on the Bus. This will also include carrying out necessary basic bus maintenance at times.
Since this is an outward-facing role, a friendly approach will be needed to help with upholding our relationship with the communities we work in. We’re also looking for someone with a can-do attitude and willingness to be flexible due to the versatility of things that arise on the project. This may include tasks such as assisting with food preparation for our on-board cafe.
Requirements:
– PCV Driving License
– At least 3 years experience of driving a double decker bus or a coach
Salary: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
