Schools in the U.K. provide extensive care for vulnerable children within their community and provide circa 1.3m children with often, their only hot meal of the day. Given the current and unprecedented situation that has forced schools to close, combined with a reduction food bank contributions and supermarket food availability now being in much shorter supply, these children are at significant risk of going hungry. Feeding Britain is a charity that focuses on providing food and meals to these vulnerable children during school holidays by offering holiday clubs and food parcels including breakfast items for the following day to families that require additional support without the school infrastructure functioning as it usually would. APEXX Global is proud to partner with a charity working tirelessly to provide meals to children during this exceptionally challenging time and we look forward to be able to assist, even in a small way, to this big initiative.
