Case studies and testimonials

Sainsburys: We are proud to have been working with Sainsbury’s since 2022 as part of their Nourish the Nation partnership with Comic Relief which aims to tackle food insecurity across the UK and ensure people on low incomes have improved access to balanced, nutritional, and sustainable food sources now and in the future.

As part of this work, Sainsbury’s has helped Feeding Britain to expand their network of Affordable Food Clubs which prevent hunger and the accompanying need for food parcels. Sainsbury’s has also supported Feeding Britain’s Pathways from Poverty Programme, which provides expert advice services on-site within food projects, to tackle the underlying issues which have left people vulnerable to hunger. Finally, Sainsbury’s has worked with Feeding Britain to run a programme of school holiday clubs in communities across the UK, providing nutritious food and fun activities for families during the school holidays. Through this work, Sainsbury’s is supporting evidence-based, dignified and sustainable solutions which are helping to tackle hunger and end the need for food banks.

Our partnership with Sainsbury’s has developed over a number of years. We have expanded the programme into new areas of work, have collaborated on data collection and impact measurement, and have involved Sainsbury’s staff through engagement opportunities and project visits.

Google: Google.org was incredibly proud to support Feeding Britain’s work during the pandemic in setting up and maintaining an emergency food programme to ensure food made its way to people in need of support.

Prezzo: Working with Feeding Britain over the past three years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The team’s dedication, flexibility, and unwavering support have made every project seamless and impactful. I am especially grateful to Andrew, whose leadership and accommodating nature have been instrumental in driving the organisation’s mission forward. It’s been a privilege to be part of such a compassionate and committed Charity organisation.

HarbourVest:We were able to co-operate with Feeding Britain in two immensely rewarding and beneficial ways: first, resourcing the charity’s efforts to expand its logistical capacity, so as to support an additional 5,000 households with food and other essentials; and second, holding volunteer days at large community events where people enjoyed meals, entertainment, and companionship.
